Beautiful things begin with something that matters.
ÉCRU is a photography-led creative studio founded by Klaudia Sztefko in Lehrte, near Hannover.
It grew from a simple idea: when something matters to you, it deserves to be seen, remembered and given a beautiful form.
The studio

Sometimes that means a portrait that feels like you. Sometimes a visual language for a brand. Sometimes a carefully styled setting for a moment worth celebrating.

I'm Klaudia
- photographer, visual thinker and the person behind ÉCRU.
My background has always been connected to aesthetics, people and the small details that change how something feels. Over time, photography became more than creating beautiful images for me. I became interested in the whole picture: the mood, the colours, the styling, the way a story is presented and the feeling it leaves behind.
That is how ÉCRU took shape - not as a collection of unrelated services, but as a creative studio where photography is at the centre and everything around it helps the story feel complete.
I believe the strongest images and concepts rarely come from adding more. They come from finding what belongs. The right light. The right detail. The right amount of space.

What is the story - and how should it feel?
Whether I'm photographing a woman, developing the visual direction of a small brand or creating a portrait setting for a celebration, I begin in the same place. From there, we give it form.
Story
Everything begins with what matters to you - a person, a brand, a moment. First, we listen.
Concept
From the story grows a direction: mood, light, colour, styling. Fewer elements, chosen with care.
